Profile
Born in 1989, in Lisbon, started as a tattooer in 2017, with a background as a charcoal portraitist, tile painter and potter.
The desire to express came in various forms trough out the years, as in writing, dancing and painting.
Graduated in Languages, Literature and Culture in Universidade Nova de Lisboa, worked in several fields from sales to translator.
By living and travelling to several countries as Angola, England, Scotland, Belgium, Italy, France, Corsica and Spain, was able to collect communication skills, from all the cultures that came across in those journeys, what came later as an asset when making people comfortable during the experience.
Rita founded the first House - Slytherin - in 2019, situated in Areeiro. The collab with Selwyn came in 2023 for the opening of House Gryffindor, in one of the most famous streets in Lisbon.
As a fan of Harry Potter since a kid, the name ''Crucio'' came as a link between the curse that causes excruciating pain to the subject, to the pain during a tattoo. But don't worry, we'll teach you the spell to stop it.

Born in Brussels in 1979, Selwyn has lived a diverse and exciting professional journey.
His connection to the tattoo world began at the age of 19 when he finally could afford his first tattoo with his first paycheck.
His initial commitment as an Import Manager in Belgium for renowned Skate and Urban Wear brands such as DVS, Matix, Lakai, Clae, Dickies, and Tribal Gear laid the foundation for his career.
He then expanded his influence by negotiating contracts in the biggest nightclubs and nightlife sector of the capital while orchestrating actions and events with sponsorship funding for 10 years.
Simultaneously, Selwyn manifested his passion for motorcycles by opening a Harley Davidson customization workshop.
More lately, he partnered for four years with one of Brussels' largest tattoo shops, where he excelled as a manager for 16 talented artists.
The narrative takes a captivating turn after his encounter with
Rita Crucio.
From this alliance emerged Crucio Tattoo House Gryffindor, a collaboration fusing Selwyn Bailey distinctive talent with Rita Crucio artistic passion.
